Your email address

YARCalc uses your email address to sign you in, secure your account, and—only if you allow it in Account Settings—send retirement-plan messages such as quarterly check-ins and automatic plan summaries. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We disclose it only to service providers needed to operate YARCalc or deliver a message you have enabled; they are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

Your planning information

Your retirement-plan information is used to provide YARCalc’s planning features. An enabled automatic plan summary includes account balances, price-update coverage, deterministic projection status, and a static projection chart in email. We do not use planning information for advertising. Access is limited to the systems and people needed to operate and support the application.

Feedback and support

When you submit feedback, YARCalc stores the category, title, message, optional current approach and safe error reference, source page path, a reduced browser/device description, and the replies and status needed to provide support. It stores a keyed one-way representation of the network address for abuse-rate enforcement, not the raw address in the feedback record. Authorized administrators can review, reply, classify, mark spam, restrict further feedback submissions, or permanently delete the conversation. A reply may be announced through the configured email provider, while the conversation remains visible in your account.

Aggregate product analytics

YARCalc collects limited operational analytics to understand which pages and general Help topics are useful, whether features such as MFA, college planning, and fixed-income planning are adopted, how long jobs and pages take, and how much external data and AI capacity the service uses. Administrator activity is excluded. Activity is associated with a one-way pseudonymous account value; analytics do not store names, email addresses, raw Help searches, AI prompts or answers, or individual plan details. Some current-plan facts are counted only in broad groups such as age range or marital status. Unsupported market identifiers may be retained so YARCalc can identify investments its data sources cannot price.

Your choices

You can independently disable quarterly check-in emails or automatic plan summary emails at any time in Account Settings. Dashboard reminders may remain visible while a review is due.
